On the nose, very evocative of strawberry and raspberry with a floral note of rose petals. The palate recalls red fruits and is augmented by hints of citrus fruit, mandarin orange and a small, very refined touch of white pepper. Ideal as an aperitif. Goes perfectly with salmon carpaccio or scallops, sushi, grilled meat…

This elegant rosé Champagne marries a firm frame with a sense of finesse and balance. Fine and satiny in texture, offering a mouthwatering display of strawberry preserves, pink grapefruit granita, oyster shell and biscuit. Drink now. 1,000 cases imported.

The NV Champagne Brut Nature Rosé is also 100% Pinot Noir and gets its pale pink hue from short maceration with the grape skins. It pops with fruity aromas of fresh raspberry, redcurrant, and crushed seashells, while the palate is more focused with citrus of grapefruit peel, pomegranate, and saltiness on the finish. It is a lovely, food-friendly rosé that would be fantastic with roast chicken. Drink 2022-2032.

(all Pinot Noir; no dosage; LY31340DG12/12): Pale orange. Mineral-accented red berries and citrus fruits on the nose, complemented by hints of candied rose and white pepper. Stony and precise, offering lively strawberry and orange zest flavors that expand slowly with air. Closes spicy, stony and tight, with very good clarity and floral persistence.

Pinot Noir is the most widely planted vine in the Côte des Bar, the origin of this wine. It is bone dry and very crisp, with an attractive red-currant fruitiness that brings in a light structure. The bottling needs to age, so wait until early 2020 before drinking.
