The 2019 Authenticity is all Syrah that comes mostly from the Paderewski Vineyard, with a small percentage from the York Mountain Vineyard. It offers a deep, inky hue to go with a blockbuster-style array of black and blue fruits, ground pepper, violets, and hints of game. Rich, full-bodied, and powerful on the palate, it has ripe tannins, beautiful overall balance, and a great, great finish.

Concentrated aromas of black plum, pressed purple flowers and dark-roast coffee bean make for a tightly wound nose on this bottling, which includes fruit from both Paderewksi and York Mountain vineyards. The palate is firmly positioned and still young, but packed with powerful flavors of mildly bitter espresso, Tootsie Roll and stewed berry that slowly seep out. Drink 2024-2040.

The 2019 Authenticity is a varietal Syrah that blends fruit from both the Paderewski and the York Mountain vineyards. This is lifted and peppery in the glass with savory herbal tones and crisp black fruits. It's soft-textured with cooling acidity and intense black fruits that saturate the senses. This finishes grippy and long with a licorice tinge and a sour citrus hint that adds freshness. The Authenticity refines for eighteen months in French oak barrels and puncheons (42% new).
