There's a beautiful citrus lift to the nose of this elegant and aromatically vibrant Chardonnay. Flowers mingle with rocky minerality leading to a mouthwatering and beautiful saline focus on the finish. The acid doesn't run in a straight line here, it washes across the palate in lemon-tangerine waves. Take some time to explore this wine.

Den Chosta means "of the coast,"and this cuvée is essentially the village bottling, coming from east Occidental. The 2022 Chardonnay Den Chosta was raised in neutral puncheon and oak for 11 months and finished in stainless steel for another five months. In the glass, it opens to notes of fresh pineapple, a light bit of pleasing matchstick reduction, lemon curd, and fresh flowers. Medium to full-bodied, it's exceptionally well balanced, with a bright spine of mouthwatering feel. It's a very nicely made and well-chiseled style of Chardonnay to enjoy over the next 8-10 years.
