The deep ruby-colored 2019 Brunello Di Montalcino is more reserved on opening, with aromas of black cherry, leather, turned soil, and menthol starting to come through. Well-balanced and medium to full-bodied, its tannins are a touch firm, but it's mouthwatering, with a more citrus-toned profile coming through to lift it along to its a salty finish. Drink 2024-2034.
