John Wright is the owner and vineyard manager of Sanctuary Vineyards in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. His ancestors were early settlers after shipwrecking in Duck and they have farmed the same land ever since. John's children are the 7th generation. In 2002 the family planted vines on their land.
