The 2019 Carmenere Marques de Casa Concha from Peumo, Cachapoal Valley, is blended with 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and a dash of Cabernet Franc before aging for 12 months in French oak barrels. Violet red in the glass, it offers aromas of grilled red pepper, fresh and stewed plum and hints of white pepper and potpourri. Fleshy and creamy with a terse texture, it contains fresh, juicy, fine tannins and a lengthy, well-sustained flavor.
