The 2021 Cabernet Franc Franc de Pied (from ungrafted vines) is fabulous. Deep and exquisitely layered, the 2021 packs a pretty serious punch. Rich dark fruit, pomegranate, spice, leather and tobacco are all amplified in this heady, deep Franc. Bright saline notes emerge from time to time, but they are nearly buried by the sheer intensity of the fruit.
