Concentrated notes of preserved plums and mulberries are accented by tilled earth and tobacco in this freshly balanced Pinot Noir. Moderately full bodied and supple on the palate, it finishes on a hint of charry tannins. It should hit peak from 2023 and hold through 2030.

This is aromatic and packed with black cherry, blackberry, violet and oak spice flavors. Lively acidity and refined tannins add lift as this cruises to a fruit- and spice-filled finish. Drink now through 2028.

The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Vieilles Vignes has an earthy nose that has difficulty following the divine Pommard Vignots; it just feels a little too feisty. The palate is medium-bodied and shows more cohesion and focus, offering fine-boned tannins and dark berry fruit laced with bay leaf toward the slightly bitter, soy-tinged finish. Moderate length.
