Pinot Noir dominates, bringing power and length, with the Chardonnay lightening the wind and contributing vivacity and finesse. The elegant nose combines Pinot Noir fruitiness with Chardonnay finesse, with notes of slightly cooked, ripe fruit and floral aromas. The palate is lively, with a good length, as expected from a mature wine. This wine has both a complex nose and palate, with slight vanilla and hedgerow notes. The finish is reminiscent of peaches and Mirabelle plums.
